Terms and conditions please read carefully
StartinYoung make every effort to ensure that all bookings are correct. StartinYoung cannot accept any liability for late cancellation due to circumstances beyond our control. Except in the case of late notice bookings all bookings must be paid for in full at least 7 days in advance of each event. Failure to pay in full before the deadline may result in the booking being removed from the system. Any cancellation or alteration to another date made less than 7 working days before an event will usually result in loss of full lesson price subject to the discretion of StartinYoung. Where a booking is made using a gift voucher this must be a recognised and validated gift voucher, issued by StartinYoung. If a gift voucher is out of date StartinYoung may accept the voucher in full or part payment at the discretion of the management but reserve the right to refuse to accept the voucher. StartinYoung require that all pupils are fit to drive, if the management or trainer feel that a pupil is not fit then StartinYoung reserve the right to refuse the lesson but may issue a refund at our discretion. StartinYoung require that all pupils are at least 4'10" and 14 years or older, places for younger drivers (under 15) are strictly limited and allocated on a first come first served basis. By Accepting these terms and conditions I understand that StartinYoung recognises the need to ensure the welfare of all young people. In accordance with our child protection policy we will not permit photographs video or other images of young people to be taken without consent of the parents carers and children nor will StartinYoung use any pictures or video for any publicity or name any children or carers without the express consent of the parties concerned. If you become aware of any images being used in any way other than intended you must notify StartinYoung as soon as possible. If you do not give permission for Startinyoung to take and use images or video then you should indicate this in the Any Other Information Box at the bottom of the Booking Form. I understand that in the event of injury or illness all reasonable steps will be taken to contact me and to deal with that injury/illness appropriately. If I choose to leave the site while the lesson is in progress I will ensure that I leave a contact no with the office staff so that I can be contacted in the event of emergency.
For the vast majority of lessons and events we get lots of positive feedback and compliments, there is inevitably going to be an odd hiccup though.
What to do if you are unhappy...
If for any reason you are unhappy first send us an email to StartinYoung@gmail.com expressing the reason for your grievance and providing as much detail as possible so that we can be as clear as we can about what where and why.
We take any complaint seriously and where there are other parties involved we will put any grievances to them and get their side of the story.
Most of the pupils get on very well with most of the Instructors though we realise that on occasion personality clashes will happen.
It is not normally our policy to issue refunds unless justification can be given.
If the complaint is about a specific individual then a refund will not be given unless the plaintiff is prepared to follow through that complaint with the necessary authorities if asked to do so.
